Subject: FTP: Port command with real IP?

26/04/2007 12:00 Marton:
If the server is running behind a router (for example with IP 192.168.0.2) when it receives a passive connection, it issues the PORT command but with IP 192.168.0.2 instead of the real WAN IP. This makes the connection fail. Is it fixable?

Public IP reqired.
For passive connection server always use IP of PC.
If your PC have more then one IP the server use the same IP that income control connection.
You may add second public IP to your PC, on gateway option route for this IP to your primary local IP and in this case all will work.
